Rebecca was born October 28, 1939, in Florence, South Carolina, the daughter of Allen and Annie Mae Conner.

Rebecca was a dedicated and faithful member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Paterson, New Jersey. She was Church Secretary, President of the Missionaries Ministry, Chairwoman of the Women's Ministry, Treasurer of the Sr. Ushers and a member of the Praise Ministry.

Rebecca moved to Englewood, New Jersey and was united in marriage to Roosevelt (Joe) McFadden on September 12, 1964. To their union three children were born: Bryant, Reggie and Demond.

Rebecca was employed at United Jersey Bank / Summit Bank as a Transit Reconciler and was a mentor to many people and touched many lives.

Rebecca and Joe had seven grandchildren: Jerrell, Deman, TeQuan, Malachi, Jalen, Destiny, and Tiara.

Rebecca died March 20, 2004 and is buried at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, New Jersey.
