Harry has asked me to introduce myself to you all. I am Marsha, your web site developer. I live in Alpharetta, Georgia with my husband, Mike, and our two Labrador retrievers, Millie and Huckleberry Finn. We have 3 children, 2 are grown and 1 is still in college, and 2 grandchildren. I graduated from Auburn University and taught school for over 15 years. In 1999, I found a new career in web development and started my company, Wildwood Forest Studios. The Conner Family project has been much more than my usual design endeavors. For as I worked on this assignment, I began to feel as if I knew each one of you, and your ancestors before you. The more I learned about you, the more remarkable I knew your family to be. And like you, the more I wish I could also have known the original James who came to live in Marion back in the early 1800’s. But you know, I think we all can see glimpses of James in all that each of you have become. He must have had a strength of character and a faith in the Almighty that has given your family good deep roots on which to grow. Your accomplishments have been and continue to be an inspiration to me. May God continue to richly bless all of you, and I hope to be able to meet each of you in person one day.
