This census
identifies James Conner, his wife Nellie and their seven children
along with their ages at that time. Note that ages as found recorded
in U.S. censuses are often off by a year or two.
In 1880 the
family lived in Jeffrey's Township which was, at that time, a
part of Marion County. Today it is part of Florence County, which
was formed from Marion County and other nearby counties in 1888.
