James Conner Jr. Household
This census
identifies James Conner, his wife Nellie and five of their seven
children along with their ages, gender, and race. Note that ages
as found recorded in U.S. censuses are often off by a year or
two.
In 1870 the
family lived in Jeffrey's Township which was, at that time, a
part of Marion County. Today it is part of Florence County, which
was formed from Marion County and other nearby counties in 1888.
