Alice ("Missy") Conner Johnson and her husband Robert
Johnson
 Alice,
known as "Missie", was born November 29, 1901, daughter
of James Jr. and Anna Wise Conner in
Marion County, South Carolina.
Growing up
on the family farm, she, like other children of her day, was expected
to do her share of the farm chores.
Alice married
Robert Johnson and together they had eight children: James,
Lawrence, Florence, Geroldine, Woodrow, Catherine,
Marie, and Lee Etta.
Robert died
August 16, 1989. Alice died January 2, 1991 and is buried
alongside Robert at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Spring Branch.
